The lineup includes five trim levels: Work Truck, LT, Z71, ZR2, and Trail Boss. Each trim level is designed to fit specific customer needs, whether that is off-road performance, towing power, or general versatility. The customization goes even further with four interior trim options across the lineup.

All Colorado models are powered by the proven 2.7-liter turbocharged engine found in the Silverado. However, there are three output options. The standard engine delivers 237 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. The Turbo Plus option is rated at 310 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque, while the Turbo High-Output offers an impressive 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque.
