Truck Classes

The first thing you should determine in your search for a new truck in Concord, New Hampshire, is how big of a vehicle you need. The truck options in the GM lineup fall into three categories: compact, midsize, and heavy duty. Each one is determined by the vehicle’s weight, size, and capacities.

The Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon are compact trucks that offer nimble performance and still enough towing power to help you with home and work projects. When properly equipped, the 2022 Colorado and GMC Canyon can tow a maximum weight of 7,700 pounds. The off-road ready 2022 Canyon AT4 can tow 7,550 pounds when properly equipped.

The midsize Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 are larger and can tow over 9,000 pounds when properly equipped. The Silverado HD and Sierra HD models are the biggest in the lineup and offer unparalleled muscle for your most strenuous work tasks.

Engine Options

No it’s time to decide how much muscle your truck needs, if you prefer brute strength of fuel-efficient performance. The Chevy and GMC truck lineups offer a range of powertrains options for you to select from.

Both the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado and 2022 GMC Canyon offer three available powertrains, ranging in horsepower ratings of 181-308.

The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 gives you a choice of four powertrains. The 2.7-liter Turbo High-Output engine generates 310 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. The 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 is rated at 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The available 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 ups the ratings to 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Although you appreciate the practicality, strength, and versatility of a GM truck, it’s okay to want a little luxury from your truck, too. Whether you opt for the GMC Canyon, Sierra 1500, or one of the Sierra HD models, you can upgrade to the top-of-the-line Denali trim level from the premium brand.

For example, the Denali version of the 2022 GMC Canyon features 20-inch, diamond-cut, machined aluminum wheels, Inside, wireless charging, a Bose® Premium Audio System, and heated and ventilated leather-appointed front seats make the cabin more enjoyable.

The 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali is equipped with the industry-first available carbon-fiber composite bed, available Head-Up Display & Rear Camera, exterior chrome accents, wireless phone projections, perforated leather seating, and open-pore real ash wood trim that’s exclusive to the Denali trim.

Perks of Owning a GM Truck

In addition to power and style, there is plenty to love about driving a GM truck. Thanks to their designs and durable beds, they can haul items such as gardening supplies, construction materials, and furniture that would damage your car’s trunk or not fit into to it at all. Pickup trucks can fuel your social life as the center of a tailgate gathering or barbecue party.

Trucks also afford you a higher vantage point cars and SUVs cannot. The height of a truck means you will be sitting with a better view of traffic around you when you’re behind the wheel. Customization is practically limitless with a truck, from the decisions you make on trim, type, powertrain, and features at Banks Buick GMC to the OEM accessories you purchase to make your truck even more fun and useful to your driving life.
